Hey everyone, Ants here. Welcome to the very first update from Black Donnelly Media on a brand new project I am calling Waiting On The Flockers.
We have some amazing news from the balcony here in Toronto. Two pigeons have set up camp right outside my door, and we officially have two beautiful little eggs resting safe and sound in their nest.
I am incredibly excited to invite you all in on this. I decided to name the birds Peter and Helen, which is a direct nod to my late grandparents. It is funny how two pigeons always seem to show up to bring me comfort right when I need a sign the most. Having them right here on the balcony is incredibly special and brings back a lot of great memories, so I wanted to share this journey with all of you.
I have been out there getting my hands dirty making sure they have a proper safe space to raise their growing family. I got them all set up with a sturdy twig border to break the wind, a steady supply of wild bird seed, and plenty of fresh water. I want to make sure they have everything they need right at their claw tips so they can focus on those eggs.
We are looking at a solid six to seven weeks from the time these babies hatch until they finally fly away. Settle in for the ride because it is going to be a truly special journey to watch them grow.

Thanks for being part of the flock,
